Are you eligible to join?

Membership in CPEG is open to Canadian pediatric endocrinologists, pediatric endocrine nurses, and pediatric subspecialty residents (fellows) who are training to become endocrinologists.

There are three classes of CPEG Membership:

  • Active Membership:
  • Associate Membership:
    • a qualified physician or scientist residing outside of Canada AND meets such other criteria as the Council may determine (“Corresponding Associate”); or
    • a resident or a research fellow in a training program in the field of endocrinology and metabolism and meets such other criteria as the Council may determine (either a “Resident Associate” or a “Research Associate”)
  • Emeritus Membership: Active Members who have retired from the practice of medicine or from research or engagement in the field of endocrinology and metabolism

Associate and Emeritus Members are eligible for free membership; this entitles them to all of the regular rights and responsibilities of Active Members, except that they are not allowed vote at the Annual General Meeting.
